Jean-Baptiste Coulomb holds a master’s degree in finance, a master’s degree in actuarial science, and a PhD in Management Sciences. He is a fully qualified actuary of the French Institute of Actuaries and an ERM expert (CERA).
His studies gave him a strong interest in research. Strongly influenced by the financial crisis of the summer of 2007, he completed his first internship at a banking agency. In 2014, he started working at the Banque de France as an asset-liability manager, then worked as an insurance supervisor at the ACPR, and later as a consultant for actuarial consulting firms.
After several years in banking and consulting, Jean-Baptiste has developed strong expertise in actuarial sciences and project management across major insurance companies in France. He brings cutting-edge expertise to R&D projects. Within Detralytics, he is also responsible for the ongoing training of consultants.
